“UNIQ” green business center evaluated with LEED platinum standard
Conresta has built the UNIQ business center, which was the first building in Lithuania and Baltics sertificated with international environmental LEED platinum standard. The construction of the building and the selected building materials are environmentally friendly. The seven storey U shaped business center’s ventilated facade, decorated with light colored clinker bricks, blends harmoniously with the environment.

The building has been designed to meet the LEED platinum class standard. LEED Rating Systems is a system developed by the US Green Building Council to assess a building’s environmental performance. The platinum standard is the highest rating of this certification system. The general contractor successfully implemented most of the requirements: ensured the smooth utilization of the materials of the demolished building, the reuse of some materials, and the sorting of waste. Efforts were made to use as much local building materials and recycled materials as possible for construction. The new building incorporates energy-saving technologies provided for in the project.
