The general contracting company Conres has started Stage I construction works on the development of the Ukmergė Industrial Park. On Friday, the start of this project was marked with the burial of a symbolic time capsule. The new production premises will become home to one of the group’s companies – Stansefabrikken.
Implementing a clear long-term growth and development strategy, Stansefabrikken Group, which manages six companies in Lithuania and Norway, is pleased to announce that it has signed a contract with Conres for a construction project of 5,600 sq. m . These investments in Lithuania will supplement the already-existing 25,000 sq. m Ukmergė Industrial Park, which will be around EUR 10 million, and will contribute to the ongoing investment plan. Stage I construction works of an A+ energy class building are planned to be completed at the end of 2024.

‘We are extremely happy to announce another important investment stage in Lithuania. Our aim is to create an eco-friendly industrial park and for the new production premises to meet the BREEAM standard with a ‘very good’ rating. This will not only demonstrate our commitment to sustainable manufacturing practices but also strengthen our competitiveness on the market. We see huge potential in investing in automation and manufacturing, as well as eco-efficiency. We appreciate the professionalism of the Conres team and hope that this project will serve as a solid basis for further and successful cooperation,’ says Olav Jegtvolden, Managing Director of the Ukmergė Industrial Park.
