“Creolink” – Impressive Size & Modern Solutions
MODERN DESIGN AND SUSTAINABILITY CONCEPTS MOVE TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF LOGISTIC BUILDINGS
The headquarters and warehouse building of the international group “Creolink”, linking companies “Libra Vitalis”, “Heliopolis”, “Dotpack” in Lithuania, “Printpack Service” in Latvia and “Igepa Libra Vitalis” in Estonia, opened near the western bypass of Vilnius. “Libra Vitalis”, a “Creolink” group company, has invested nearly 9 million euros. The design work and the construction process was coordinated by the project management and engineering consulting company “Baltic Engineers”, and the construction work was carried out by the general contractor “Conresta”.
“From the estimate calculation to the implementation of the project, we’ve only used innovative technologies. We’ve calculated the cost with our innovative “Optiplan” cost management system and used the BIM (Building Information Modeling) program. Before the start of the actual construction work, it assisted in the coordination of the individual parts of the project. There was also an exchange of information and cooperation during the construction, with remote communication between the project participants. We are delighted with the modernization of construction processes in Lithuania and the increasing trust of our clients,” said Lukas Laukaitis, the CEO of Conresta.
In addition to the storage space, the building has been designed with 1300 m2 of administration and 1000 m2 of retail space. In order to ensure that all project tasks were carried out by professionals in their field, different companies were entrusted with the interior design of these premises.
Advanced techniques have enabled the management of a large flow of changes, prompt identification of project deficiencies and timely resolution. In addition, it accelerated decision-making and, despite the large number of participants in the project, avoided major deviations from the planned schedule.
