On the 10th of September, Vytautas Mineral Spa in Birštonas hosted one of the biggest and most important events of the year for the Lithuanian construction sector community – the Builders’ Day celebration, organised by the Lithuanian Construction Association (LCA) together with the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Lithuania.
Builders’ Day is a professional celebration organised for the 22nd year in a row to honour all Lithuanian builders. The celebration brought together more than 400 participants from the construction business, government, scientific and educational institutions, and other related associations and organisations.
During the Builders’ Day celebration, the most distinguished employees of the country’s construction sector were given awards. Among them, the representative of our company – Deputy Director of Construction Alvydas Černys – received an award for his long-term, responsible and professional work in the construction sector and for his contribution to achievements in the construction sector. The acknowledgement was given by Simonas Gentvilas, Minister of Environment of the Republic of Lithuania.
The company’s team also competed with other teams from various regions of Lithuania in the already traditional Builders’ Olympiad. This year, participants had the opportunity to compete in basketball, rowing and archery. Our team managed to win the 3rd place in the basketball game and take the 6th place in the overall standings.
