Each year, Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists organizes the “Lithuanian Product of the Year” awards. This year, “Conresta” and its project “Eglė” luxury apartment complex were awarded the Gold Medal in the Construction category. The awards were presented to the laureates by the Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Mr. Viktoras Pranckietis and the President of the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists Robertas Dargis. The Lithuanian Product of the Year Awards, organized since 1997, are recognized by the business community and considered to be among the most important in the country. The main goal of the event is to increase the competitiveness of high-quality Lithuanian products and to promote the choice of high-quality Lithuanian product, thus accelerating the business development in Lithuania.

Situated on the shores of the Baltic Sea, in a cultural heritage area close to the famous “Alley of Love”, “Eglė” apartment complex (the project of 73 luxury apartments and 8206 m2) was completed in 17 months. The unique shape of the building replicates the irregular lines found in nature. For the facade decoration, a handmade brickwork was chosen, resembling of the fir tree trunk terrain. The first floor of the apartment complex consists of separate building elements. The construction work was carried out by a team of over 250 people. The building was constructed and equipped with the highest quality materials: handmade “Peterson” clay bricks, curved aluminum profile windows, marble slab staircases, Brazil walnut terrace boards for apartment terraces and natural stone walkways in the courtyard. Due to the biometric locks installed, you can enter the apartment without using the keys. The underground car garage is equipped with an automated license plate scanning system. The apartments were designed by architect Donatas Rakauskas.

“The architectural ambition of this pine-surrounded building posed some great challenges, yet all the advanced solutions, our team of professionals and years of experience has allowed us to maintain the proper geometry of the building and manage its complex structure,” says L. Laukaitis, the CEO of Conresta. “There have been many challenges where standard solutions have failed us and modern ones needed to be introduced.”

It’s definitely more than just another apartment complex – it’s a synthesis of art and architecture. The apartments feature elevators that incorporate 15-meter-high murals designed exclusively for this project by Eglė Babilaitė. These murals can be seen with special lighting as you ascend the elevator from the underground garage to the fourth floor of the building. Blacksmith Linas Leščiauskas minted an exclusive gate and exterior decoration for this project. The apartment courtyard was decorated with a 3-meter-tall sculpture by Martynas Gaubas “The Lost Hero of the Park”, depicting a sitting magical elephant.
