The general contracting and construction company Conresta increased both revenue and profit last year. The construction company earned EUR 1.7 million net profit, 42% more than in 2020. Revenue increased by 69% to EUR 84 million (in 2020 – EUR 50 million).

‘Last year’s good results were achieved due to the successful portfolio of construction projects that had started last year and of the projects ongoing from 2020. However, we did not achieve the goals set by the company, due to the rapidly growing prices of materials and extended delivery terms. This year, despite the ongoing difficult situation of growing prices, we are continuing the work we have started in all the facilities,’ says Lukas Laukaitis, CEO of Conresta.

In 2021 , the company started construction works on six new projects in Vilnius and Kaunas counties, the total area of which is 28,114 sq. m. The construction company indicates that the average number of employees in 2021 was 236 – 39 more than the year before.

Speaking about this year’s results, L. Laukaitis admits that even better results would be highly unlikely. The company plans to maintain a similar amount of income in 2022 as the year before. The total goal of the signed contracts portfolio is EUR 80 million. The CEO of Conresta emphasises that it will not be easy to achieve this result, but he is glad that the team is able to ensure a stable supply chain of construction materials and carry out works according to the plan. Furthermore, the CEO of the company expects more understanding from the state and hopes that indexing in contracts will be more effective.

Following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the company immediately made a decision to stop purchasing materials from Russia and Belarus.
