In less than a year, we’ve managed to build the most modern poultry farm in the Baltic States and one of the most modern poultry farms in Europe. The complex itself is equipped with sheds and the extension of production-administrative premises, as well as ancillary farm buildings. The object is intended for the production of eggs sent to the incubator. The total area of the building is about 9,700 sq. meters and the volume of the building is about 47,000 cubic meters.
The building has five separate spaces for bird breeding. One part of the building is designed for industrial-administrative and household premises. Materials with long-lasting performance and exceptional strength were used for construction. Shed walls are made of three-layer reinforced concrete slabs and galvanized metal structures. The total amount of materials used will be similar to the amount of materials used to install the tree crown trail in Anykščiai. Tin sheets were used for the roof, multi-layer panels were used for the construction of the walls of the production-administrative part of the building. Sheds and industrial part of the complex have industrial concrete floors. The building complex is equipped with gas, drinking water, fire water, household & industrial wastewater sewage, rainwater and drainage engineering networks.

According to Tautvydas Barštis, Head of “KG Group”, the number of farmed birds increases as poultry production increases. “The new unit of the “Jačiūnai” bird breeding complex is set to produce an average of 9.5 million eggs a year. All of these eggs will be daily transported to the “Kaišiadorys Poultry Farm” hatchery. The estimated investment is around 5 million euros. This bird breeding complex has been designed and built in accordance with the latest bird breeding standards, and has been developed and implemented in accordance with parent breeding guidelines and good practices in European Union countries.”
Planned solutions of the site were made in accordance with all technological requirements. Expected technological processes: litter delivery, feed delivery, bird breeding, automated egg collection, transportation and sorting, egg disinfection, egg storage, container storage, shed cleaning.
