The Construction of 2 Modules of “Hegelmann Transporte” Logistics Complex
General contractor “Conresta” has been entrusted with the first two phases of construction of the logistics complex owned by the German capital logistics company “Hegelmann Transporte”. A total of 6 project implementation stages are planned, after which the premises will occupy an impressive 38,000 sq. m. and the total investment of the logistics center will amount to 20 million euros.

The first phase included the construction of a 5643 sq. m. warehouse building, with its height reaching 17.5 meters, and a 4-storey, class A energy-efficient administrative building of 4007 sq. meters and 500 workplaces. Construction period: 08.2017 – 05.2017.
The outer partitions of the administrative part of the building were assembled from prefabricated three-layer reinforced concrete slabs, the outer surface of which is made of white pigmented cement. Because the structure of these panels is extracted using the special NOEliner Glatt matrix, we had to pay special attention to the installation process.
Another construction challenge was the installation of a 16 m long, 5 m high truss that weighs 14 tons. The truss of such dimensions had to be fabricated and delivered to the facility in one piece and fitted with wall panels. An entrance space was created from it.
In the second phase another 5443 sq m warehouse building was built. Construction Period: 2018.03 – 2019.02. A total of 20 million euros will be invested in the logistics complex of 6 hectares near Kaunas “Hegelmann Group.” In the future, the total area of the buildings here is planned to reach 38,000 sq. meters.
In the western part of the storage space there are 45 gates for trucks, in the eastern part – 30 gates for minibuses. Also, 357 parking spots with special spaces for disabled people and electric vehicles were designed in the 60,000 sq ft. m. area.
