On the border of Belarus, in Eišiškės town, in Dumble village, Eišiškės border control point was reconstructed. The project meets the Schengen requirements. Comprehensive-purpose hardware and convenient traffic management ensures a convenient and fast border crossing process. The contract value of Eišiškės BCP construction project is approximately 2 million euros. The project was financed from the state budget.
Eišiškės BCP is a really compact facility and occupies an area of only 0.71 ha. The design capacity of the reconstructed checkpoint is 500 vehicles per day in both directions (480 cars and 20 buses). Until then, the checkpoint had a throughput of 300 vehicles a day in both directions. The total area of the main building is 414 sq. meters. The site is designed to ensure complex layout of functional zones, convenient inter-technological and technological links, and effective use of the territory. A modern infrastructure has been designed, including passenger screening and motor vehicle due diligence buildings, an administrative building and a shed.

Construction carried
out with:
FIDIC yellow book terms
The project was implemented in accordance with the terms of the FIDIC Yellow Book. The construction work was carried out without interrupting the daily operations of the BCP. Large amounts of peat were excavated during the installation of the foundations and replaced with a suitable soil for the foundation. It is one of the first border points where reverse traffic is organized. The border officials will be able to regulate the movement of incoming and outgoing traffic in lanes, depending on the current situation at the border.
“Conresta” also had to reconstruct the infrastructure of Eišiškės BCP, which was poorly developed – there was no water supply or sewage network. The structures of the control post were worn out, morally obsolete and did not meet modern requirements.
